allonwhite Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Held on the 1st Saturday of every month is the Allon White Sports Cars Breakfast Club. Bacon rolls, tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits from 9:30 and then a 'theme' or workshop from 10am. We have a couple of interesting themes coming up in the next Breakfast Clubs: Saturday 4th April Neil Furber from Drive7Tenths - see www.drive7tenths.com - will be coming along to talk a little about his time spent working for Red Bull Racing and what he now does for his day job, advanced and performance driver training. Neil will also be offering a limited number of 'taster' driving instruction sessions - 15 minute drives in your own car - after his talk. These need to be booked in advance - first come, first served - and please email [email protected] Saturday 2nd May Allan Reid from the 'Bloodhound Project' will be giving a presentation on the Bloodhound SSC - a car designed to crack 1,000 mph and nail the landspeed record in the process. It's being built by the same team, led by Richard Noble, that created Thrust SSC - the first car to break the sound barrier. It should be a fascinating presentation and Allan will also be offering the chance to tour the Bloodhound Factory at a later date. All are welcome to the Breakfast Clubs and no need to book, just turn up on the day. For more info, click on Allon White Breakfast Club
