My First Horizons Sarnie...

Well, I feel like I've finally arrived! I had my first Bacon Buttie at Horizons this morning, and very nice it was too!

 

Oh yes, and my new upgraded brakes are a bit good too...

Yep, tis mine!! Glad you like them - I think they're one of the best colour combinations obviously only IMHO

It was definitely nice to see everyone and have a general gab about things - I won't mention the near incident I had on the way home when I remembered nearly too late that the brakes hadn't quite bedded in yet...!

Was it just pads you upgraded or the whole brake system?

It was brakes and Disks, I had recently trashed my old ones at a Donington Track day. Its time to change when you come out of the circuit and hear scraping noises...

 

So, I had the Turbo Grooved discs added with SBS pads. They are starting to bed in a little bit now, though they will still need a bit more time. I'll report back when they are fully working - oh yeah, and they look extemely cool too...

 

Mike also sorted out my headlight covers, removed the sealant goo stuff and replaced it with very nice looking allenscrews.

 

Oddly enough my radio seems to have started working better since being there, though they didn't do anything to it. Must be the Horizons 'aura'...

Bob, I think you should speak to Martin R. He mentioned that he was unhappy with the goo holding his headlight covers on. I'm sure he'll like to know what you think of the job Horizon did on yours.
