To cut a long story short:-

 

A mate of mine had these [never used] i had had some shitty corroded silver ones which he wanted.... we swapped

 

They are nice and go with the car great, although the finish is not spot on..... My mate said they were painted not powdered.

 

Im getting them refurbed after my hols matt/gloss black

 

PS they are a dark metalic grey [almost gun metal]

 

PSS. I think it look alot less girly now!!!

I'm spraying mine once the weather turns bad (I reckon it'll take me about a week per side - 24 hrs between coats / sanding / primer etc )

 

Mr Modman and a link I've seen showed me some nasty cracked S1 wheels after powder coating.. Not worth the risk I reckon for just an aesthetic mod...
