Hi,

I am new the forum and I am keeping my fingers crossed that somebody can help me out.

My dad and I are in the process of restoring a 1979 Lotus Eclat S1.

Living up to the Lots Of Trouble Usally Serious tag bits are going wrong.

Currently we are after an Exhaust manifold and a drivers side electric wing mirror.

If anybody has these in good condition for sale please let me know.

Also if anybody has had experience of balancing the twin 45 Dellortos please get in touch.

One day we might get her running right and then I will look like this :drive: .

Thanks

James

Hi James, welcome to the madhouse :D

For used spares try Mike Foster at Clicky

He should be able to sort you out or point you to somewhere with spares.

You will also get new spares from SJ Sportscars in Devon by post,

and Paul Matty or good for some items like the carb rebuild kits.

Do check prices before buying as they vary a lot between new and reconditioned or a used secondhand part.

Also, keep in mind if a bigger job comes up that you can't tackle, then try another Mike Foster at Horizon Motorsport in Cradley Heath who is very knowledgeable of the Lotus 912 engined cars.

Re sorting out the carbs goto my MSN space Clicky which scroll down gives you everything you need to know.

Then its worth buying a Carbtune Manometer from Morgans Clicky

Hope this helps
