How Many Mk1 Where Producted?

i would like to know how many lotus mk1 they made, just to know how much "succes" this car got, would love to know even where they sold it (i think that in uk it s a lot less uncommon than in other places) perhaps being able to know how many left/right drives where producted would be cool..

like xxxx s1 standard

xxxx 111s

 

xxxx exige

I think there were 601 S1 Exiges produced, as for the others I dont know the numbers although I have seen them mentioned before.
