dazb
Wow, have just finished reading the road test of the Exige 240R in this weeks Autocar........ quote 'This is one of the very fastest cars you can buy for any money, not just around corners, but on the straight bits as well.' Why couldn't I have been richer!
spike
The S2 Exige looks the nuts in black too... the 240R is one sweeeet car, have you ever needed someting so bad it hurts? lol
Steve J
But it only has 240bhp Should try it with 300bhp
halfpenny
Did you notice the last page too ?? Something about some "bug eyed" car called a S1 Elise or something and how great it was.....
spike
But it only has 240bhp Should try it with 300bhp <{POST_SNAPBACK}> can't help but think people are still missing the point of the elise/exige... or is it me?
Steve J
Balance, poise, feel are great but if you can have that AND power, then why not?
spike
fairy nuff, and i'm not saying it can't take it [what's the V6 exige pushing out?] but there must be a limit when there is too much power, rendering the car unusable?
Scott_Mac
The Audi engined Exige was nigh on un-usable.... stupidly fast mind! From recent jaunts out in many cars, i reckon the std Honda engined car gives the performance that should have existed from the outset. Though i am sure once you'd got used to it, you'd want more.... dazb
Hi Halfpenny, yes I could relate to it to as I 'spanked' my first one as well! Autocar is to blame for my Elise love affair following their original reviews and Steve Cropley waxing lyrical about it.........
Scott_Mac
Best thing in Autocar is the quiz about the type of driver you are
