Wow, have just finished reading the road test of the Exige 240R in this weeks Autocar........

The S2 Exige looks the nuts in black too... the 240R is one sweeeet car, have you ever needed someting so bad it hurts? lol

can't help but think people are still missing the point of the elise/exige... or is it me?

Balance, poise, feel are great but if you can have that AND power, then why not?

fairy nuff, and i'm not saying it can't take it [what's the V6 exige pushing out?] but there must be a limit when there is too much power, rendering the car unusable?

The Audi engined Exige was nigh on un-usable.... stupidly fast mind!

 

From recent jaunts out in many cars, i reckon the std Honda engined car gives the performance that should have existed from the outset. Though i am sure once you'd got used to it, you'd want more....
