simonk
Could be all sorts of things fuel: crap in it, none left, pump ignition: sensors, spark plugs fouled, leads, distributor cap, rotor arm
gerags
Sounds like it's misfirinf There's a thread here... http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index...?showtopic=4763 But it could be water in the electrical system (Plugs & distributor cap) or the petrol you're using (if you've filled it up recently)

Take a breath, undo the spark plug cover and voila ????? Two minute job even for a non techie. Bob
malbon
like bob says...if its only started happening after this horrendous weather then it will be rain on your leads and in your plugs. dont worry I just left mine running for half hour to dry it out - problem solved.
