Steve G Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Afternoon all, Just seeing if anyone knows the answer to this. I always thought it was against the rules to park in a turning circle, however can find nothing in the latest version of the highway code. Am I imagining it, or have they amended the rules? Situation is this. New neighbour. Both his house and my house are in the turning circle at the end of a cul-de-sac. Mr New Neighbour seems oblivious to the fact that he has a driveway, and parks both his van and car in the turning circle which by definition is right outside my living room window. Admittedly it doesn't block my drive, and I can fit about 4 cars on my drive so parking isn't an issue for me. It's just annoying really. Just wondered if anyone knew where I stood before I say something. Cheers, Steve.
fentuz Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Got the same issue... Neighbours and their friends park in a blind corner and there are a few near misses as people turning in the corner see their sheds in the way. Some people from work who live near by (about 100yds) have already complained but nothing changes...
