Best Oil

hi guys, need to top up my exige with some oil. Any ideas what is the best to be using? I was gonna go for some mobil 1 fully synthetic?

Lotus now puts Castrol Formula RS 10W-60 in VHPD engines. If you can't find that, their previous favourite was Mobil1 Motorsport 15W-50. Both are PAO fully synthetic. Don't you dare put anything ordinary in a VHPD!

ha ha, brilliant! yup, because its bright orange my wee sister named it er.. pumpkinface. I spent all last year calling her vw polo a packed lunch box on wheels so now i get lumped with a name

Is the mobil 1 ok to use in a standard s1? Someone i know thought it would be too thick(being fully synthetic?) Would be for use on the road as well as track days. Does the later of the two numbers ,i.e 50, means it is better at higher tempearatures?

i reckon mobil one is fine for the stock s1, i used it in my s2 when it was stock as recommended by the dealer
