I think I've had a small misunderstanding there Dixie, When I saw the first picture I thought the mats were little dinky ones that just went over the grooved ally bits. After seeing your pics and realising the mats you are selling are for the footwell proper, a looked at the original piccy again and saw that it looked like the rest had been carpeted...

 

oops - and I've already got the footwell mats! Rats, there goes that theory...

Ribbed Floor - Hoover with brush attachment, and make sure all the crud is bone dry.

 

Ally - I use a tiny tiny amount of autosol, but i have heard baby wipes do wonders, apparently they are also great at cleaning upvc windows.

 

Dead Bugs - Try one of those shower-puff thingys, like a ball of netting. They are great for bug removal.
