Mark H
These are the first pictures to emerge of the new Lotus F1 car that will compete in the 2010 Formula One World Championship. The team has finished building its first wind tunnel scale model, which will undergo testing shortly. Lotus aims to have two cars - powered by Cosworth engines - on the grid at the first race in Bahrain next March. Team chief Mike Gascoyne admits that the car has a long way to go before then, however. 'There is no escaping the challenges we face to get the car ready for the first race of next season. But I am confident that we are up to the task. Our target is to get the car ready by the middle of February, so that we can carry out pre-season testing for Bahrain in mid-March.' Lotus is one of four new teams joining Formula One next season, the others being Campos GP, Manor and US F1. http://www.verdictoncars.co.uk/jsp/vocmain...101&id=3618
