ant13375 Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Hi all I posted last week about my heater knob getting stuck at 10 & 2 o'clock http://www.midlandslotus.co.uk/forum/index...showtopic=30178 and for the first time ever i have taken some advice from SELOC. So, i removed both access panels, then removed the ducting from the fan to the duct under the windscreen, i sprayed loads of WD40 on the lever on top of the heater unit which the cable is attached to, i turned the fans onto full and wiggled the lever to see what came out and to my surprise, quite a bit did, but i don't think it should have. My first thoughts are that its part of the flap that the lever adjusts for hot & cold selection, but i drove the car last night and the heater seems to be working fine, if not better than before as i adjusted the cable whilst i was at it and now my heater knob turns fully from hot to cold. Any thoughts on what it could be. Ant
