Have Any Spam Probs?

I should go without saying that in the last three? years or so you have developed a great online community, I came accross from the BBS when you posted an anouncement and pop back once in a while for a read or to get new info on my Elise issues. Anyway, enough arse kissing...

 

I run a plastics industry disscussion forum, I use phpbb which is great but a real target for spammers, It's really a daily pain in the arse.

 

Do you get any spam problems with Invision? I do like the software and they do a conversion from phpbb. I'd really appreciate your views and experiences with it before I buy.

Sorry didnt see this for some reason. We get a bit of spam at the moment as the system to stop spamming (image code typed into a box) has been overcome by some clever people The next release that I need to apply to this site apparently fixes the problem.

 

At the moment I just ban the user and their whole email domain from registering in the future altough you can ban ip's among other things if needs be.

 

I personally really like Invision and there are lots of mods for it, they have a real security drive on at the moment to fix some of their past failings and it seems stable. I tried them all out before deciding on Invision.
