If you're at a loose end on Saturday 21st April then why not come along to the VSCC meeting at Silverstone?
Hopefully they'll be a few Lotus cars out in anger including Elevens in the '50's Sportscar race and Sixteens in the pre-'61 F1 car race. I'll also be running in the pre-1930 Vintage Racing Cars event, so there's an MLOC presence there too. Hopefully it will be another superb meeting!

“APRIL SILVERSTONE” – THE GP ITALA TROPHY MEETING
SILVERSTONE CIRCUIT
Saturday 21 April
The season opener is here! We have now confirmed with Silverstone the date is now 21st April. We are pleased to promote a race card offering all that is great from The Vintage Sports-Car Club. From the ‘High Speed Trial’, to the 1950s Sports Cars Race there is an event that will appeal to all fans of vintage and historic racing, competitor, marshal or spectator alike. Entries are now closed and nearly 200 cars are confirmed to participate including 9 ERAs in the Patrick Lindsay Memorial Trophy (see news)
The ‘Spring Start’ has races suitable for a wide range of cars, including;
· ‘High Speed Trial’ suitable for novice and newcomers in pre-war sports-cars
· GP Itala and Lanchester trophies for Vintage Racing Cars (pre 1930)
· Patrick Lindsay Memorial Trophy for pre-war Racing Cars (pre 1941)
· Rothschild Trophy for Pre- 1/1/61 front engined & up to 2.0 litre rear engined F1 & F2 Racing cars
· Fox and Nicholl for road trim pre-war sports-cars with a team prize
· 1950s Sports Racing Cars scratch race
· Three scratch races, two handicap races and a ‘survivors’ race for pre-war cars.
