Friday BBQ at the Charles Cotton Hotel, Hartington (21st June)
For those arriving at the start of the weekend and for all the lucky local Lotus owners there will be a gathering at the Charles Cotton Hotel in Hartington from 7.00 pm onwards. A high quality barbeque is available to book for all those who require sustenance. The BBQ is priced at £12 per person, the wonderful location, great company and fantastic cars are free so be sure to join in for a great social evening.
Sunday morning runs and Peak Rail meet (23rd June)
- You have a choice of three run routes, all with different start points.
- Entry to the 'Lotus only' parking at the Peak Rail meeting is included in the £10 purchase price.
- If you do not want to take part in a run you will receive £5 in raffle tickets instead.
On the runs cars are started in groups of up to 10 cars, each group with an experienced leader. A tried and tested system means that you drive at your own pace and you can not become lost! Choose a start point and pace to suit your car and your driving style.
All of the runs finish at Hassop Station Café, with cars arriving between 9.00am and 10.00 am. All cars leave Hassop Station at approximately 11.00 am for the Grand Procession to the 'Lotus only' parking and meeting at Peak Rail, Rowsley.
Cars must arrive at 7.10am latest - Shawcroft Car Park in Ashbourne (DE6 1DG)
Run length is approximately 62 miles, mostly major and good B roads, lots of twisty stuff so perhaps slightly more technical than the Baslow run, suitable for all cars.
Pace - brisk, medium and slow runs are available from Ashbourne
Cars must arrive at 7.10am latest - Nether End Car Park in Baslow (DE45 1SR)
Run length is approximately 62 miles, major and B roads with some lesser known minor roads in the mix (nothing too narrow or bumpy), perhaps slightly less technical than the Ashbourne run, suitable for all cars.
Pace - brisk and medium runs are available (no slow option) from Baslow
Calver Classic Run
Cars must arrive at 8.15am latest - Eyre Arms pub car park on Calver Crossroads (S32 3XH)
A shorter run of approximately 37 miles, mixed route with some truly spectacular roads, designed to be driven at a more relaxed pace and suitable for all cars, not just classics. The later start might be very appealing to some!
Pace - slow runs only are available from Calver
Breakfast at Hassop Station Café (23rd June)
If you want to book the £5 breakfast deal offered by Hassop Station Café you need to pre-order your choices in the LitP store. Please note that payment for breakfast must be made to the café when you collect your food.
Gourmet Picnic Lunch (served at Peak Rail meet, 23rd June)
This high quality gourmet picnic has plenty of choice for omnivores and vegetarians and will be served at the Peak Rail meeting site at approximately 1.00pm. The picnic is great value at £12.50 per person and it's not possible to purchase the picnic on the day, so don't forget to pre-book now and join in the fun!
