Fox Posted January 6 Posted January 6 hey all 👋 I've been looking at a couple of car shows like the two I've linked below with a view to showing my car at them. The thing is that the paintwork and trim etc isn't in pristine condition, and it gets worse when you poke around the engine bay...! I expect there's a variety of standards of cars on display though at a lot of events... not all cars are kept in immaculate condition but it's still nice to see a variety at these events. Does anyone here show their cars? If so, anything you can share about going about it? Any shows you'd recommend over others? https://greatbritishmotorshows.com/event/lytham-hall-classic-car-and-motorcycle-show/ https://www.theclassiccarshows.com/crcr/ Ta Dan Quote
Eric Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) Hi Dan I haven't shown either of mine at shows but I regularly visit them to drool over some of the metal / plastic / carbon on show! Last year's Piston Heads show at Bicester Heritage was spectacular with a huge variety of cars on show. There was a Lotus specific area though organised by the Lotus Drivers Club, so I'd recommend joining LDC if attending or showing your car at events is what you're looking for (and getting suitable advice on prep.). Here's a little taste of the stuff on show at last year's (2025) Piston Heads gathering though... Cheers, Eric Edited January 7 by Eric 1 Quote
