Rear Window

in the nice weather do you remove the rear window ? (as well as roof )

I took mine out and sliped it behind the seat but it rattled and i thought it might shatter ,

does anyone have a polycarb rear window ?

Used to take the rear window out in winter and leave it in in summer, stop at a junction on a very hot day after a 'spirited' drive and you will understand.

Had mine shatter on the S160 due to a stone kicked up by a caterham on track and bought a polycarb one to fit.

 

I always found sliding it between the passenger seat and sill worked well at stopping it rattling around.

Summer = most definately in place. As Mark says - you will be roasted in Summer!!

See , i didnt think of that , I will definatly look into getting a polycarb window and keep the glass at home .

Don't think the polycarb is road legal, but that may be bishop

Polycarb windows are legal all round exept the windscreen , but if you get caught with scratches that obscure the view you will probs get done .

When my top hose went at 110 coming back from Le Mans I was glad the rear window was in place!

i haven t tried to remove it yet but i was almost going to do it...

but after what i ve heard here and considering in italy there are almost 38 degree i think i am not gonna do that after all
