Decent Runs With Local Pubs Around Shrewsbury?

Hi just looking at the great weather today and with taking the lady friend out for a little drive and drink tonight..

so could do with some decent runs with some nice pubs on the way around shrewsbury area? mid wales that kinda thing?

Basically any decent views etc...
