I've just pinched this fron the SELOC site. Having had this happen to me 4 times , I thought it may be of interest to our growing list of members.

I just had my car in for its first yrs services, and was advised by the garage that the front indicator clam units had to be refixed securely with pop rivets and P clip-white ?.Apparently the previous spring clips were not up to the job, and in some cases the whole unit had fallen out at high speed causing damage to the body work. This re-call started 04/06/03. My MK2 was reg in May 02.

Glad they've decided to do this as its plainly the right thing.
