Hi all,

 

I was just wondering if anyone here had been on one of the SYS days at Hethel, and what did you think of it?

 

SWMBO has suggested it as an x-mas pressie, but £100 for 1hr 20mis worth of stuff seems a bit pricey. Was it worth the money?

 

All opinions greatly appreciated.

Yeah bit pricey but a fantastic day out, good tour of the factory as well ,the chance to thrash someone elses car as fast as you dare, and then the flying laps by their guys just shows you how far off the limit you were, go for it............IMO

I agree. I did this in Feb this year & really enjoyed it. Factory tour is v detailed & interesting, 20 mins driving with guidance from a lotus development driver (Alastair McQueen in my case) was ace and felt as if it lasted much longer. Just when you thought you were quite good, they take you round for 3-4 laps which are absolutely amazing. These can be every corner taken sideways or as fast as they can with no messing, depending on what you want.
