jaye.tillson
Ok I spent (for 2 of us) around £1300. That includes £340 for fuel, £550 for hotels, £120 for the crossing and the rest is for food and the tolls. Take into account £80 for European AA cover and £50 for all the stuff you need to buy (petrol can, spare bulb set, first aid kit, triangle etc) and the trip gets expensive. That doesnt include new tyres, brake pads, and all the stuff i did to the car to get it ready for a 2500 mile trip. The whole trip cost me around £2000 and I would do it tomorrow if I could.
