Avo Shocks

I have finally found out that the shocks that are fitted to my car are AVO fully adjustables.

 

What i want to know now is - does anyone have any knowledge regarding them? Are they good/bad? Should i get rid of them? Are they designed specially for the elise, or are they off the shelf units?

 

Any advice will me much appreciated.

They are about £75 each for the Elise S1. Don't know much about them, would doubt that they are any better than the OE dampers and springs.

I had a set of avo's on as they were cheap, but lasted 9months, C.Neils replaced with lotus part free of charge due to the pants nature of the part.

AVO's are absolute sh1te! And that's me being complementary.

 

I had some LSS for sale but they've gone.

I had some on my car when i brought it. The early set up's were a complete disaster. The length of the rear shocks was wrong as they were too short. This meant the ride height etc was all out. I think the later set up might be ok.

I changed mine and got a set of Leda's which are much better.
