Wuddie
you can fix these your self, if you take the door panels off you will see how the mechanism works...get some glass bonding glue and refix the bottom edge to the mechanism. There are some guides online check out the links section on this site, one of the other sites has the guides..Someone might pop up soon and tell you exactly where to find these tho. GCCK
The windows may not have come unbonded - maybe just come out of their guides. The guide runners have a rubber gasket insert which gets hard and ruched over time and eventually obstructive enough to force the window mechanism out of the guides altogether. If you can get into the door panel (removing window winder + panel screws), you should be able to get at the guides. It's all a bit gynacological but failing that, take it to a specialist because he will have seen it all before. Graeme
richn
And get some of the *dry* silicone lubricant spray that's use for lubricating uPVC sliding doors and spray it into the window guides front and back. It'l then glide up and down with no stress on the winder mechanism. Got mine from a general hardware store.
Sol
Mine were done at Tollgate by Lou(who did a fantastic job), and to be honest, unless youre handy with fixing things, I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself..just my 2p.
