Here's an extra wide shot of the tail pipes. They look to be of similar diameter to the stock tail pipes on the OEM mild steel system.© M Sturman 2012

Nice close up of the "U" bend, O2 sensor and secondary cat. The OEM system had a heatshield on the "U" bend. Given that this system isn't such a "tight package" no additional shielding has been necessary.© M Sturman 2012

Part of the original back box heat shielding had to be cut away, but this improves airflow around the system. Engine bay temperatures are now a lot lower, mainly due to the absence of exhaust gases from the blown flexi pipe on the old mild steel system. A nice and neat installation, but apparently a bit tricky to fit - not a like for like fitting.© M Sturman 2012

Tail pipes, back box and secondary cat. This is a full system minus the decat pipe; the pre-cat has remained installed. I had to get a new system after the flexi pipe on the original mild steel exhaust blew.© M Sturman 2012

A shot of the back end. The technician at Stratstone Leicester did a really neat job of trimming the heatshield. The car is now minus the tail pipe trim plate which was pop riveted onto the heatshield for the OEM system. Again, the absence of the trim plate might be helping with the through flow of air, keeping the area cool.© M Sturman 2012
