Sunday Early Morning Runs and Bamford Meet (Sunday 28th June)
The early morning runs are £20 per car and includes entry to the Lotus only parking and meeting area at the Bamford Recreation Ground.
You have a choice of three Routes for the runs and two starting points
For those not wishing to go on a run the cost will be £15 for entry to the Lotus only parking and the meeting area at Bamford Recreation ground
Note if you have family meeting you at Bamford in a non-Lotus car, we have set aside some non-Lotus Parking spaces £5 payable on the day.
The ‘Runs’ are organised in groups of up to 10 cars and led by an experienced group leader. A tried and tested system means that you drive at your own pace, and you are guided along the entire route, there is no need for a map, although you will be given one
Choose your preferred start point and pace option to suit your driving style and car.
All the runs finish at Thornbridge Hall for the breakfast stop where the car park will be organised to accommodate all the cars, with all the cars arriving by 9.45am.
All cars will leave Thornbridge Hall in our Grand Procession to Bamford, a sight to behold, at 10.45 am sharp.
Ashbourne Start Point
All cars to arrive for registration and the safety briefing by 6.45am at the latest at Shawcroft Car Park (off Park Road) Ashbourne DE6 1GD.
The route will be approximately 53 miles, chosen for your driving pleasure to be a mix of scenic and twisty A and B roads to suit our cars.
You can choose ‘Regular Pace’ or ‘Slower Pace’.
Calton Lees Chatsworth Estate Start Point
All cars to arrive for registration and the safety briefing by 6.45am at the Latest at Calton Lees car park postcode DE4 2NX
Again, the route of approx. 58 miles, has been chosen for your driving pleasure on some of the Peak District’s finest roads.
You can choose from ‘Regular Pace’ or ‘Slower Pace’.
Both Routes will be very enjoyable!
The Classic Car Run
This will start from Calton Lees car park postcode DE4 2NX.
All cars to arrive for registration and the safety briefing by 7:15 am. A shorter run than the others, of approx. 40 miles, is planned to take in the wonderful views the Peak district has to offer and is suitable for classic cars and those wishing for a more relaxed pace to start the day. (Open to any Lotus, classic or new).
