Just NE of Leicester lies a sleepy little village called Ashby Folville, a few houses, a Church, a pub and a cricket pitch. Its sleepy every day until the second tuesday in each month through the summer. when iIt gets invaded by dozens and dozens of amazing cars and hundreds of motorcycles. These range from veteran and vintage, American cars and trucks, right up to modern day supercars, racing cars, rally cars etc. The main exhibition area is on the village cricket pitch with the really old vehicles usually behind the pub, the public car park is opposite the cricket pitch in a field, costs a pound to park. If you come in your Lotus you'll be OK to park on the cricket pitch.

Get there early preferably before 7.00 PM as parking can be difficult, things start around 6.00pm and the earlier the better its easy to get a drink in the pub then. There are literally thousands attend so its quite busy, the atmosphere is great, all the owners are approachable and more than happy to talk about their pride and joy.

There are usually a handfull of Lotus including a few 340R's and Esprit or 2. At the last one I went to there was also a Viper, Ford GT, Renault Spider (parked well away from the elises ) several Ferrari's and a coal/steam powered car running in the pub car park!
