Ladders
Taking the missus to the Norfolk coast for the weekend. Was thinking of Hunstanton to yarmouth. Any recomend B & B's campsites round that way? Plus will most places let you just turn up and book or will I have to book in advance? Cheers Dave
Bramble111s
Argh!!!!! You just picked the two worst places to go!! IMO Depends what u are looking for, but for a quiet, scenic seaside experience, try Sheringham for a town, or Blakeney for a village, both are my favorite spots to go. Sheringham has a full range of shops and a great front, Blakeney has seal watching trips, a windy coastal walk and an awesome teashop up the hill. For posh antique shops and great cakes try Holt. Have a great time!
Ladders
Cheers Bramble! Was thinking of taking the coastal route so driving through Hunstanton etc Will give Sheringham and Blakeney a try Just pray for nice weather now
RobS
Weather permitting, stop for a beer and spot of lunch at the Dun Cow in Salthouse. Its on th coast road between Cley next the sea and Weybourne and has nice beer garden. If you like smoked fish etc. the smoke house in cley is worth a visit ! Red Devil
Southwold (small town) is really nice as is the beach at Walberswick. Avoid Lowestoft like the plague! Steve

Ladders
Well, Sat morning started off in Hunstaton - and carried on driving through Bramble But took the coast road, very nice with the roof off - even when it's cloudy with a bit of sun like it was Sat. Stopped off at Salthouse at the Dun Cow for food. Cheers for the advice Rob, would be even better with the sun out. Then carried on to sherringham. Put up new tent to try out, and introduce the girlfriend to the joys of camping. Drove to Cromer. Sun comes out and all is looking good! Drive to supermarket with roof off to buy BBQ stuff. Leave roof off when we go in as it's all blue skies. Come out 20 mins later - its pissing it down! Typical! pisses it down constantly, I have to cook a BBQ in the rain. We decided to come home Sun instead of useing the mon we took off work to have a nice few days off! Oh well, it was fun I suppose - and more fun than sharing a tent with Rawr eh Scott!
