enxrjm
Has anybody bought this: Quick Release Kit I'm tempted if its makes it easier to get the floor off, but seems expensive at £37. Opinions?
bigguss
I will admit it took me ages to get the undertray off first time, but that was a mixture of nerves and fear I'd round off the bolts. I can't help thinking all it will need next time, especially as I copper slipped the bolts, is an electric screwdriver on low torque. Even if I still have to start the loosening, I can't see how this £40 version will be that much quicker. Maybe I am not paying attention, as I thought these quick release things snapped off - no need for screwdrivers?
Steve J
Still need screwdriver but only for a 1/4 turn. Got them on mine but not sure I'd pay for them. They corrode quickly and feel very flimsey.
enxrjm
Ah - shame I ordered them yesterday lunchtime then! Still all my fixings are corroded away anyway and the widgets the self tappers go into have been used so many times that most are loose.
simon_prickett
I put the quick release kit on my previous Elise, then took most of it off as it was rubbish.
