Popular Post DSTOR Posted February 22 Popular Post Posted February 22 Now it’s back together, rather enjoyed driving it 😂 Had a bloody brilliant impromptu run up through the Peaks this morning. Caught up with @Oakman for breakfast at Hassop and then had a LiTP style mini cross over with @_W_ on the way back. 😂 Bye heck I’ve missed this, can’t wait till we are back doing it every weekend chaps. 🤩 2 1 Quote

Andy wright Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I would love to get out in mine having put a set of Penske 1 way dampers, larger bore master cylinder, HPE shifter and some ‘ Seriously Lotus ‘ 2 piece rotors ( oh and converted the front Calipers to side feed ). But, fell and broke my kneecap so getting into and out of an Elise is , err, a bit tricky ( read bloody impossible at the the moment ) And Sunday was a glorious day ( well the morning was ) . 1 Quote
CDM2018 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 After 10 odd years of ownership and my Evora now nearly 16 years old and 72k on clock, I decided after this winter it going for a major refresh. as I don’t know much about mechanically side I have been blessed by having a talented work colleague who will to do the research actual work etc but he also a track instructor and plain old car nut. so the refresh is mainly all centred on the handling side of the car, I don’t want any more power and don’t think its cost effective. So all suspension parts are showing their age through corrosion effects wear and lack of tightness which equals to poor handle and ride. my Friday car also has a number of silly niggles water egress, air con ineffective and bubbling paint work on front clam. my chap is going to address all the above and more his aim is to make the car ten years younger or better! Not cheap but I want to keep my car and maybe just maybe if I get the tuition and guts will go and try a track day at Donington ? 1 Quote
