Popular Post Little Steve Posted July 16, 2025 Popular Post Posted July 16, 2025 Hi just wanted to pop my head in to say hi, first time poster. 🙂 I'm Little Steve, I've been running an Emira V6 FE in Hetel Yellow as a daily for the past 3 months and been thoroughly enjoying myself with it. It's my first Lotus and she's generally been very well behaved, random electrical quirks aside. I'm well into middle age and have driven allsorts over the years, I've been a massive JDM enthusiast previously but have driven plenty of nice cars from across the globe. I sold my GT86 and RX7 track car to purchase the Emira and it sits in a perfect middle spot between the two. I always fancied an NSX and this feels like a natural successor in many ways. I was tempted by an Evora initially but fell in love with how pretty the Emira was which is about the best looking car ive seen overall in about 15 years, and being of a certain age a functioning interior and a slightly less raw driving experience were right up my street. Been loving the steering, weight shift, engine and gearbox, while not perfect it has shed loads of character and every drive is engaging and has made even a trip to work worth of a smile. So anyway, hi! Nice to meet you all! 4 Quote
DeanB Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 Welcome to MLOC Little Steve! If you fancy driving your Lotus on a Sunday morning why not come on one of our Peak District morning runs? Ray is usually there with his yellow Emira. We almost always end up at Hassop Station for breakfast. A nice opportunity to chat about the cars. There are members on here with Emiras in Matlock and Bonsall... Dean Quote

hartleyj Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Hi Little Steve Welcome to MLOC and all things Lotus. I am sure you will find much of interest on the forum, and a ready source of info from folks on here should you need it. Your previous cars sound interesting and will swop notes on the Emira when we meet up. A piccy of the car would be nice! Quote
lotus111 Posted July 22, 2025 Posted July 22, 2025 Hi Steve great to have you aboard on the most friendly car enthusiast club on the planet. Sadly i am not a Lotus owner at the moment but i have had many in the past, you have made the right choice with the Emira being a owner of a few Evora’s from earlier ones to one of the last ones and having driven a few Emira’s, totally agree the latest Lotus is one of the best looking sports cars on the market. Hope to catch you on a Sunday morning run soon 👍 Quote
