Pete has a reservation elsewhere.  There are rooms available at the Charles Cotton for LitP.

if you booked direct with the Charles cotton you are OK if you booked through a third party site you will need to ring Charles cotton and see if they have a room

This makes sense.

I contacted them directly today, they said Expedia were informed in March!

I've just spent a good hour faffing about with Expedia to refund me and then they couldn't find another hotel.

I've booked into the dog and partridge now. There's a couple of rooms left if anyone needs one. But, I'd be quick.

Markh27 - How did you manage to get Expedia to sort.  They insist on calling the hotel first to confirm but they are not picking up.  Round and round in circles we go............

My tolerance gland is getting a workout and I'm about to lose my shit!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Ray.

On the case.. No answer from Hotel at the moment. Have contacted Booking.com and awaiting their reply.

I couldn't get hold of them during the day.  Best time is around 1700hrs.

Definitely speak to them yourself.  I was told they were closing 31st May and the hotel cancelled my booking with Expedia.

It's a really strange one as I would have thought if they were selling the business to a new owner, they would have accepted new bookings on their behalf.  This isn't my experience with them though and to be honest, I don't think they could have handled my booking any worse!!!

After numerous phones call to the hotel and Expedia, I finally got my refund (when it eventually lands with me in 10 working days!!)

Managed to speak with a lady at the Hotel. Yep definitely closing at the end of May. Best bit is they have no record of my booking!!
