Popular Post Badger02
Hi, My T49 will be on the LDC stand at the upcoming NEC classic car show in Nov. Been busy getting it ready, with a deep clean, replacing a tatty piece of gold tape on the passenger door, replacing the headlight covers seals and outer tape, engine bay back to black applied etc 1st time I've ever clay barred a car body and then I decided to apply a ceramic coating. Still got a few jobs to do, but by and large it's finished, and happy with the results. Cheers Edited October 30 by Badger02

Yeah - I'm not a sticker fine either, not even LiTP ones, says he awaiting howls of scorn and disapproval from Clubmates 😀 Edited November 3 by Mutley00

Badger02
My normal cleaning regime is rinse, snow foam, rinse, dry. For the show I've clayed bar the paintwork, iron detox spray, applied a scratch removal cream, then alcohol cleaner before applying a ceramic coat. In addition removed all 4 wheels to clean the insides of them, removed both headlight covers to apply new seals and the outer tapes, sanded and polished both headlight covers, new oil filler cap, back to black gel on all trim and the engine, touched up countless stone chips, applied leather conditioner to the black parts of the seats and steering wheel, attacked those pecky tread plates with a stiff brush, sanded and polished the fuel cap and finally replaced the tatty gold tape on the passenger door. It's been a bit tiring, but also a good learning experience
