you know, every time i see a newcomer i get a little stab of envy for that sensation of driving your first ever lotus.  that feeling of being so absurdly low to the ground compared to whatever it was you used to have, and the rawness of everything about it.  i remember it being a very special and overwhelming feeling, and while i've still got a thrill from collecting each of my subsequent ones it was never quite like the first time
