Halve the Peaks in my air filter

I felt a very slight hesitancy under acceleration so decided to check the air filter as I hadn't in the time I had the car, to say it was dirty is an understatement, I have changed for a Pipercross performance filter Seems to have put things right, has anyone else fitted the Pipercross filter?

Standard filters all the way for me Ray.  Yours seems to have done the job it was designed for.  Question is: has a new filter resolved your slight hesitation?
