Anyone got a project on the go for NYE? Not sure anyone will trump collecting a  new Lotus on NYE. 🙃

Here’s ours. A self build Tamiya RC Luchbox.

The eldest daughter is enjoying it, even the wife has been involved in parts.

electronics mounted and gearbox built.

Looks like fun - I remember my R/C days with great fondness...

My daughter and I are working through the 1/8th scale Bugatti Chiron (Lego Technic).  We are about to start the engine - all 16 cylinders of it !

That's rather cool Dave - I did spy that set when doing Xmas shopping a few weeks ago.👍 You'll have to share a few progress pics at some point

Just rebuilt the gear box on this, just a few bits to replace then see if it runs.

This was my Christmas project, started just after Christmas and finished yesterday.

Ran it without body at new year and found a transmission issue (grub screw not tight enough on drive shaft).

Now completed for a run later today:

I am not sure I'd get away with that Dave!

I'll own up to spraying the yellow body in what I thought was a well covered area, only for the Mrs to ask why our black smeg kettle had a yellow dusting 😂
