When fitted to a lotus s2 elise Or do lotus change the internals ? Mine as a super charger and the paperwork that came with it in 2004 says lowered compresion with shorter conrods think rest is standard . But does standard meen just a normal rover engine . Mrker60 Posted December 31, 2019 Author Share Posted December 31, 2019 Thankyou for that. I think i will stay with my original plan then and take mine on a trailer to have my cambelt done. I dont know if or when it was changed I dont want my engine going bang as I know the internals on mine were changed when having charger fitted by turbo teknics . DeanB Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 Good plan. Lotus recommend the cam belt is changed every four years even on cars doing low mileages. TT converted supercharged elises are very rare, I would love to see yours. Are you going to bring it out to one of our Sunday morning meets in Derbyshire?
