Quite agree Kieran. I have used a number of garages - both independent and authorised - over the years and with varying levels of confidence.

Oh I plan to use Gav in the future for everything else but wanna keep the service stamps in the book from authorised Lotus specialists as that's what it's full of. From what I've read Gav is very knowable about these car so will be getting him to do most things on the car. The car would go to him for servicing too if it wasn't for the reason above but after a year or so of owning the car you never know I probably will throw caution to the wind and just get Gav to do it for me.

I use both Martin@Top Gear and Dan@HPE - both will do a great job. If you get bored Dan will even throw a Honda in the back too 🤣

Welcome! I use Gav at unit 4 too. Good, honest bloke, who knows his way around a Lotus. As soon as I was out of warranty on my current car, it went to Gav. I personally believe, unlike most cars a dealer stamp vs a known independent stamp makes absolutely no difference to the selling price!
