Marcus Blake appointed as Commercial Director for Group Lotus plc

Lotus is pleased to announce that Marcus Blake joins the iconic British sports car company as Commercial Director responsible for all sales, marketing and aftersales activities for Lotus Cars worldwide.

Marcus joins at a very important time for the Norfolk based business, which, under Geely and Etika ownership is embarking upon a period of investment and product development to enable Lotus to reach its full potential in the rapidly changing automotive industry.

Prior to joining Lotus, Marcus held a number of global commercial roles at Aston Martin, most recently that of Global Marketing Director.

Feng Qingfeng, Chief Executive Officer of Group Lotus plc welcomes Marcus to the team, “With extensive global experience leading sales, marketing, aftersales and dealer development, Marcus will help drive forward our exciting plans for Lotus in the future. We plan to grow our business through a global footprint of highly professional dealers, ahead of the introduction of high performance, innovative Lotus sports cars that will further grow this legendary brand.”

Marcus Blake said, “I am delighted to be joining Lotus at this pivotal time. I have long been an admirer of the achievements of Lotus over the years, from the extensive motorsport victories through to the peerless drivers’ cars produced today. I look forward to bringing my experience to Lotus to help grow this distinctive and iconic British brand for the future.”

Marcus Blake holds a BEng - Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Warwick.
