Kevin
I maybe over thinking this but tomorrow I have an engineer coming to fit a replacement Traker unit to my 2002 Elise and I’m not sure the engineer has worked on an Elise before. I have very little car maintenance knowledge, I leave this to Gavin, so is there anything I should be aware of before the engineer disconnects the battery? Thanks in advance Kevin
jonnyfox
I disconnect my battery from the car with an isolator and have no issue, as do a few I know.
The Cakes
No issue other than trackers being a waste of ££££. You’d be better off buying one of these off Ebay: https://m.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m4084.l1313&_nkw=272766531408
Martin R
I always disarm the immobiliser just before disconnecting the battery. Seems to prevent any problems on re connection.
