Unkle
Hi All, just joined and just bought my first Lotus a S1 TT190. Hope it's OK but I'm more southern than midlands! I've seen a gauge pod I'd like to do myself and am told it was from someone on here, 'chipper' I believe? I did a search but couldn't find the details of how it was made, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks Andy
dobbo
I'm pretty sure that's Steve / Fi Jones' Exige. I got my gauge pod set-up from Trickster (on SELOC) but they were prototypes. Not a problem as I was having the dash trimmed anyway.
Phil S1
Yeah it is Chris, the photo appears in this thread..
MilesH
I tried to get a set off Trickster like Chris (Dobbo) has but he never put them into production
Steve J
As I replied on SELOC yes that's my car and unfortunately you cannot get those pods from Yvo any more.
jonnyfox
Another solution would be to change your dash to include the info you're looking for possibly....
stratosboy
another option....but means dispensing with heater controls and radio...
Unkle
Radio I could just about live without, not sure about heater though in the UK!
stratosboy
going to have plenty of heat radiating through cab from chargecooled Audi turbo installation - fitting small fan for clearing screen, so won’t be needing my heater.

fentuz
I made a radio version years ago for 2 gauges and a fan override switch. I bought a radio iso plug and made a gauge loom out of itThe gauge cluster was then removed and I put a cheap ebay podhttps://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F372242138130Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Alex B
Jonny’s idea of a dash to suit would be do able with the new DIGI dash being sold via seloc.
Mutley00
Elise Parts sell this chappie > https://www.eliseparts.com/products/show/88/859/twin-gauge-pod/ Have you tried any main dealers? This fitting is standard on the Sport 190. I wondered if it was a stock item. You could always try Lotus Motorsport but last time I tried, Lotus were rather 'vague' as to whether they existed anymore.
dobbo
Actually, just thought - I still have the Eliseparts twin gauge pod that mounts under the dash. Has oil temp and pressure gauges but no wiring or sensors.
