Yorkshire Moors Routes - Help!

Good people of MLOC!

I'm off to the Yorkshire Moors next month on my annual driving excusion with a few mates. I've not actually done much driving in that area so I was wondering if anyone can recommend any good routes?

We're staying just south of Chop Gate and have 3 days to kill.

The main road between Pickering and Whitby is good plus there are lots of roads off that to places such as Goathland and Levisham that are nice.  Some good hairpin bends, hills etc plus beautiful scenery.  Also highly recommend ending the day with fish and chips in Whitby (either the Magpie or Quayside) as they are the best in the world IMHO.
