russelld
I'm looking for a replacement battery for my Elise as light and inexpensive as possible. Can I have your opinions on this please : https://www.rapidonline.com/haze-hzy12-18ev-12v-18ah-gel-battery-ev-range-18-1124 Any other suggestions welcome Thanks Russ
DeanB
Dunno about that one Russ but I use the Odyssey pc something or other. It's about half the weight of the original (saves 6 kg iirc) and can be mounted flat on the boot floor to keep the C-of-g down. It was about £
AlanS1
I have a Odyssey PC680 relocated from the boot to behind the passenger seat. You just have to make sure they do not get low on charge.

I have used the Odyssey PC680 like Alan and the Varley Red Top 15 - both have been excellent. Just make sure you have a decent charger of at least 2.0AMPS (not a cheap one they destroy them), and don't leave them on constant trickle, you just charge them fully and disconnect and they can be left for months without use.
