Respray Cost And Recommendation

Hello all,

 

Just returned from Lotus in the Peaks which was a lovely experience and it has made me think that I really need to get my Plus 2 Christorper Neil resprayed. It was the silver blue one, you may have seen it. I am after the same colour. Can anyone recommend someone in the midlands who would do a good job at not to extortionate a price?

My Elise had a full body-off respray a couple of years ago. Gav at Unit 4 (in Burton) did all the prep and he got a local place to spray it. Gav is ex-lotus and was the bodywork guy when Peter Smiths were doing lotus.

Good call dobbo I took a Snikey look around your car yesterday at LITP and it was Awsome mate would not mind a pax lap in that machine

Rob, the guy Gav will send it too is the chap who has already been recommended.

Alex - maybe he used more than one place then. I was there last Friday (Gav's) and he popped out to pick up my side skirts. He was there and back in about 5 minutes. Pretty sure Swad is further than that from Burton ???

Chris you are quite right there is two places he uses the one in swad is where he's pointed me for my sill work.

The one round the corner resprayed the front of my S1.

Both do excellent work.

Not yet. Full resprayed costs vary according to the condition of vehicle so best to get a quote. I'm told that They are from £4 -18k depending on a lot of factors.

Just had a great paint job done on my s2 at my friend neil's heavenly bodies peterborough.He's a genius !!! really passionate about doing these cars.He's done both my s1 and s2 hardtops and shroud,he does full body repair/paint at a fraction of the cost of other paint sprayers.really recommended him.
