Hi All,

 

I'm after a bit of non lotus related help.

 

I lost my mum recently but still have her original mini.

 

Sadly it's not on the road at the moment and needs some bodywork repairs including new cills to get it through its MOT.

 

Mum always had minis and she loved it as does all the family.

 

It's a bit of an ask but we would love to get it back on the road in time for the funeral which will be in the next couple of weeks (no date set yet).

 

The speed of her passing has taken us by surprise, otherwise I would have sorted this sooner, and the Lotus has been receiving all the attention recently.

 

Does anyone know of a good bodyshop or have welding skills that could help? I have a friend who would be able to paint it.

 

Any assitance much appreciated.

Sorry to hear of your loss Adrian. It sounds like a great idea go get the mini going for the funeral. You could try the guys that repaired my car, Edmonds Auto Refinishing in Burton on Trent. They could definitely do a nice job but I have no idea if they could fit it in.
