Paul1982
My S1 Elise Driver side front caliper is making a ticking sound .... Basically i think one of the pins are loose and allowing the pads to move back and for against the clip which is making a ticking sound at low revs. I'm 100% sure that this is the problem but am 90% so if anyone has come accross the same problem and sorted it please can you let me know I put a plastic pipe around the loose pin and it did stop the noise for a few miles but it must has come out again... But there must be a long term idea
Mark H
Do a forum search for buffer pads, basically your pads are moving around in the caliper. With some padding around the pad it will stop them moving and clunking. Hope that helps, common problem and an easy fix.
