Exige Tyres.... Kin'ell The Yoko Ao48's Are A Bit Pricey

I suppose as long as you set the ride height with the tyres on it makes no difference? What front profile are AO48? as standard issue? surely 195 and 205, 50 profile have the same diameter and just the width is different? Just checked looks like 5mm difference in ride height, How strange?

The profile part of a tyre size is the percentage of the width. 195/50 will have a 97.5mm sidewall height and 205/50 102.5mm

I ran A048s on my old S2 exige, they were overkill on the road IMHO.

One of the defining reasons for selling that car was almost binning it on a cold wet evening. Real brown trousers moment on a road I had driven countless times before.

I know you are hardly dailying it (understatement) so can avoid this to an extent, but a blat up in the peaks and the weather can catch you out.

The biggest upside to me is they have a really cool looking tread pattern that make it look more racey bling... Guess this is important when it's being admired in its natural garage habitat ;)

I have to say it's a shame you can't get corsas in S2 sizing. They have the grip but are much much better in the wet.
