mwn11
Have been posting on Seloc since buying my first Lotus and figured i should start posting on a board that is probably more local to me Also attended a Lotus Drivers Club meeting which is held close to me and got to meet some really friendly people so will hopefully be attending more of these.First proper trip and chance to spend some real time with it since picking it up beginning of june.Started down the M'Way to shrewsbury. Stopped for a bite to eat there and then started up to Oswestry and turning down the B4396 onto the B4391 after many suggestions to try this road. Stopped for some photos of the car.Stopped at the Royal Oak in Betws y Coed which had been recommended by friends and was lovely. Try the burgers at the Y Stablau restaurant connected!Next day after some walking the weather stopped drizzling and the roads dried slightly so off for a couple of laps of the Evo Triangle. I had one then i got out with the camera and told the Mrs to have some fun while i took pictures. After that went for some more walks and a drive through the LLanberis passFinished the following day coming back through the Horseshoe pass and stopping for tea and cakes at the Ponderosa cafe at the top.Cant wait for the next road trip where these cars really make sense and you wouldn't want to be in anything else!! If you decide to do it again post it up im sure you could get a bit of a convoy going. As others have said nice pics and nice plates.

Many other members around rugby or surrounding villages?Need to look more closely. At least two other Lotus close to you, including an S1 Elise and an S3 Exige. :-) Roll on the next fish-and-chip run to Wales. Perhaps this time we'll actually get the fish and chips! Have seen an S3 exige on the leicester road/newbold way before but also seen it on the A5 heading towards towcester so wasn't sure if it was passing through. Also never seen the S1!
