jody391
You can drive it Jody ;-) but I think you'd prefer 20mins in the R300 which you are more than welcome too! Edit: Lights are fine. Image changed above. Now it looks as Panda cool as Jody's Johnny that does look better, what was it the brackets or? Now a go in the R300 has me looking, you are a gent I would love ago
jonnyfox
Anytime My new fuel pump arrived from Seriously Lotus last week so popped that in today as well. I had fitted the original pump into the Pro-Alloy tank but it's played on my mind over the months. Why go to all the trouble of fitting a new tank and not fitting a new pump, it is 17 years old after all. Not forgetting new silicon hoses and clips. Cleaned, stripped and anodised the shear panel, it's looking like new down there.

jonnyfox
I dropped the exhaust off today at Lenton Automotive in Halesowen. Gavin has just made my Caterham exhaust repackable and also added some bling to the occasion. He's just started up and knows his way around a Lotus. Worth a visit if you need some work done, he's a good bloke. Few pictures of the R300 exhaust.

jonnyfox
So this morning another no fun job but it's a damn sight less expensive then buying the big bolts new. De rust with the Dremel, remove old thread lock with a wire brush, a vinegar bath and got them Zinc Coated.
stratosboy
Without doubt Steve Before I reinstall the fuel tank I'm having (due to popular demand) the rear brake lines remade for me to fit perfectly (this time ). In the meantime it is nice saving a bit more weight though hey.... AND IT IS COMPLETELY PAINTED Johnnyfox, great build, been following here and elsewhere....could you please do me a favour if not too much trouble and post a couple of pics of the roof from behind, I need to see how the hinge fits onto the roof panel, as my motorsport elise build looks quite different. I would like to use the exige hinge rather than aftermarket catches. thanks Dave
Steve J
I have a motorsport engine cover that uses the hinge. Can take photos if that helps.

Cheers Steve, I'd appreciate that if you would. Both sound good. Will pm a bunch of pictures but it'll likely be Monday if that's ok.......as long as you post a certain stunning project on here Lol....as well :-) Thanks Johnnyfox, that would be really good and help me out. My project is hardly stunning at this point in time, I've just collected a set of wide body S1 Exige panels, still rough just out of the molds, so need lots of work. This is my retirement project for next year! I will post some pics of the start of my Elige project soon....meanwhile here's a couple of where my current project is up to, nearly finished!!
