jonnyfox
Boot floor test fitted before it goes off to be anodized. That's quite exciting in itself as I can immediately drop onto the exhaust as soon as that's back. The dash had spent too long looking like this, albeit without the cowl. Back together again, the upper left and right dash panels have been trimmed by Allon White's to match the instrument cowl and soon the steering wheel centre when that comes home. Beautiful embroidery of the S1 Exige logo. Also fitted the FEV gas extinguisher to the front of the car. Pleased with how neat the internal switch looks in place of the blank (no external will be fitted). The switch blank has replaced the old AC switch and Dave (stratosboy) is kindly sending me another to replace the re circulation.

jonnyfox
Finished off the engine bay extinguisher nozzles. The pipe by the way I'd already plumbed in along side the main harness down the centre through and around the fuel tank. And a few things back from anodising... But the big news I (finally) fitted the boot floor, heat shield and exhaust

jonnyfox
While all that was going on, I was bonding and sealing the new floors in (thanks Mark). They were anodized along with the foot rest and front tunnel cover a while ago, I'm really please with the result. And I am so getting the pedals anodized early in the New Year, they are doing my head in!
timbo
Am most impressed with the variety of books being used to hold the new floor panels down!

jonnyfox
Well they were dropped off today Guy, should be ready Friday. Big thanks to Dave for the switch blank and everyone else for there help. So a few more little jobs completed here and there. New washer jets, silicon pipe and wiper blade. I had the caps striped and reanodized black. Roof fixings stripped and given the full POR treatment.
jonnyfox
I had a little issue installing the Odyssey battery in it's new position. Some of the cables no longer reached so I decided to fit an isolator switch for the live and a two post junction box for the earth. I drew up and had a bracket made to hold the isolator. Both that and the junction box are fitted to original riv nut fixings that were used originally to fix the battery tray. I bought two extra cables a live and an earth to go from the battery to the isolator and the junction box. When I tidied the loom I stripped back the live wires (4) from the main loom to give me a neater install. All fitted I have to say it's MEGA. Neat, tidy and works perfectly. I also took the time to fit and clean the fuse and relay boxes to the new wheel arch liner.
