Pembrey Track?

As the V6S comes close to being run in and ready to go... Starting to plan for my first track day in it, unfortunately due to work committments can't do any week day dates so weekends are the only option. Noticed a track day on the 21st June which is at Pembrey, whats it like as a track?

Only other option is Rockingham but is a higher cost and 98db which I fear could be a push :/

Im based in Gloucester hence trying to find something in reasonable distance!

I have driven Pembrey, although this would've been about 10 years ago, in an MX5 before I got the Lotus. I thought it was a great track, quite small but with a deceptively quick straight and a nice mix of technical / flowing turns (assuming the layout hasn't changed). I vowed to go back there in the Lotus, but unfortunately moved up North before I got chance. I'd certainly go back if the opportunity arose.

It's an ok track for a one off trackday, but I won't be rushing back (went a few years ago).

 

Pretty simple layout and pretty flat (I like tracks with elevation change). Couple of quick corners and an average length straight and a few tighter slower corners. Not very challenging, but might not be to bad for a first trackday in a new car.

 

It's an old airfield but the track is all Tarmac if I remember correctly.
